Happy New Year! I hope you all had a safe night if you went out last night or a peaceful one if you stayed in. My night was a mixture of both. I started out at the party held here in the park but by eleven was home and getting ready for bed. I tried dancing a couple of times but just couldn’t do it. I lost my breath and had a hard time getting it back. At eleven it was decided that it would best if I just went home. Bob came back with me but I insisted he go back to the party, no sense in him missing out just because I’m sick. There were no fireworks in this area, no car horns blowing or firehouse sirens going off so I slept through the strike of midnight. I welcomed the New Year this morning.
You may have noticed for the last week that there are advertisements in the right hand column. Yes, I monetized the blog. So far I’ve made thirty three cents! If you see something that grabs your attention by all means, click on the ads! I encourage you to click on the ads that interest you. Are you hearing me? Click on the ads!
I sometimes write about my trips to the grocery store and how much I save in coupons or what a zoo it was. Have I ever told you that I bring my own bags to cart my groceries home in? It’s what I do to help make the world “greener”. My own contribution to save a tree and keep plastic out of the landfills, not to mention I get five cents more off my bill for each bag that I bring that is used.
When we were in Alaska this past summer I bought a whole bunch of tote bags they had for using to keep cold things cold and hot things hot. (think roasted chicken)
I bought quite a few of these and I love them! They are sturdy, durable thermal insulated shopping bags. They are made of polypropylene mesh and conveniently zip shut. The bag dimensions are 13.75” H X 12” W X 8.25” D. They hold a bunch!
This bag will come in handy when you have to take something cold to a picnic or cookout too. They are especially handy for getting the ice cream home, still frozen, on a hot summer day!
It folds flat for easy storage.
If you would like to have this handy tote all you have to do is leave a comment . No email address is required unless you are announced as the winner. Just leave a comment and you will be entered into the drawing. (I know some of you have a difficult time leaving a comment so if you want you can email me at SnookieQ at aol dot com and I'll the comment in for you.) Of course you have to leave a name or I won’t know how to tell you who won. One entry per person please.
