Since we had done so much yesterday in getting road ready it didn’t take us long to get on the road today.
Hugs and handshakes for Rich and we were on our way. Have I mentioned yet that we’ll be on the road for a whole hour? That’s all, sixty two miles down the road. We have reservations for the FamCamp in Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio.
We’re going to stay there for a few days to take in the Alamo, the Riverwalk and who knows what else and to see some more RV’ing friends Bonnie and John McMullen.
It was a pleasant drive down to San Antone albeit a cloudy, overcast day. Of course as soon as we reached the FamCamp, got checked in, ($16.00 a night) got unhooked, plugged in and water hose attached, the skies opened up and for the rest of the day it rained.
We’re here, safe, sound and dry, that’s all that matters.
