7/29–7/31/2011 Work–Friends-Bikers Are Coming

Back to work and we’re in a heat wave again. One hundred degree plus temps will be the norm for next few days.

We’re starting to gear up for Sturgis Week. The phone is ringing a bit more asking about tent and RV space and some are already arriving with their trailers in tow which hold their motorcycles.

Tent-ers are starting to arrive. So far we’ve had seven tent-ers at once but we’re hearing it will tent peg to tent peg when Sturgis Week officially starts on the 7th.

On Saturday, our friends Joy and DeWayne arrived from Oklahoma. Long time readers may remember them from last summer when we were in Delaware and they visited us there.

These two had to stay put in Oklahoma since last fall to take care of family matters but they are back on the road now and are they ever glad. Once that travel bug gets into you its hard to shake it.

So they are here for several weeks to see all the sights the Badlands have to offer and we hope to spend some serious time visiting with us.

I can’t believe the end of July is here already. It seems like just yesterday we were having a 4th of July picnic.
