We finally bid farewell to the wonderful folks at RVs For Less and hit the road with our new home.
Our first night we stopped in Chattanooga and thought we might spend a few days there but the sites were tight and the campground wasn’t all that for the money they were charging.
The second night we stayed at a Shriner’s Lodge which would have been perfect for what we wanted to do. Unfortunately, the sites were so un-level that our jacks were extended as far as they could go in the front which really didn’t give us a warm and fuzzy feeling. In fact the bottom step of our set of four was level with my knee so that should give you an idea of how far off the ground we were. It’s a shame the sites were so bad as there was only one other rig there, the charge was only $14 a night and the scenery was very nice. We drove in with the thought of staying for a week at least but it just wasn’t to be.
Next stop,,,,Savannah, Georgia.
