Late this afternoon we traveled the whole quarter mile to our friends, Mike & Barb’s home. This couple are our across the street neighbors in Quail Run. We knew they would be in Show Low, we didn’t know they would be this close, but that’s a good thing that they are.
We were invited for dinner and before hand sat out on their deck admiring their view of the lake.
We could have sat there for hours and they assured us they do!
They bought this condo a year ago and what a lovely home they have. As you can see the view is to die for.
Mike and Barb made homemade pizzas for dinner. We each got our own made to order pizza. They have got this down pat! Of course Mike owned a lakeside restaurant for many years and has made thousands, if not tens of thousands, of pizzas. We thoroughly enjoyed ours. Barb makes her own sauce and the cheese was grated on the spot. Add in some freshly cooked sausage, pepperoni, sun dried tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, black olives and onions and you could build your perfect pizza. We hear she makes a dynamite meatloaf!
Good food and even better company.
By seven we had to take our leave because Judy and Dana were waiting on us to set up for the Craft Fair that is going to take place tomorrow in the Grand Lodge. Because we work so well together the four of us knocked this out in no time.
