This is going to be a busy next week or so for the Activities Department. We have Christmas Eve services, Christmas Dinner, New Year's Eve, a Main Office open house and the individual get together's were each taking part in. Oh, the calories!
We're in crunch time now getting the newsletter written for January. We have so many activities coming up in the month of January and of course a blurb or short article has to be written about each one. In addition to this we're having a SPA DAY here in the park on the 27th so we're making reservations for the ladies for manicures and pedicures in between selling last minute tickets for News Years Eve on top of every other normal every day thing. Whew!
I know one thing I forgot to mention about our new truck. It still has that new truck smell. Not as strong as the day it was driven off the showroom floor but evidently the previous owner was not a smoker or traveled with a dog and you can still smell that special smell a new car/truck has. Its one of my favorite fragrances!
We've been watching the weather around the country and we're very thankful we're in Arizona! True, we're in jeans and sweatshirts or light jackets (and some brave souls are still in shorts) but I'll take this any day over living in two feet of snow!
That's about it for today. Keep warm you northern readers.
