Quail Run’s Winter Olympics is in full swing now.
Dianne and I had our first event playing Bunco. I had never played this game before and neither had Dianne. In fact, a lot of people who signed up for it had never played but it was easy to learn on the spot. It was a dice game, fast paced and oh so fun!

The afternoon brought the swimming event. Now this wasn’t just a regular old swimming event where the breast stroke or butterfly were the call the of day. Oh no, not in the Quail Run Winter Olympics!
The first event was swimming with a noodle between the legs.
Our cheerleaders were on hand of course.
This event also brought out lots of spectators.
And then there was our super swimmer. Wilf.
I think the balloons were to help hold him up in the water.
Then there was his big rival! Bill !
I never did find out why or how it was supposed to help to have beer can strapped to his legs.
And the race is on!
Maybe super swimmer wasn’t exactly right because Wilf needed help getting to the finish line.
The next event was swimming with a gallon milk jug between the legs.
The last event was doggie paddling two laps with golf balls held in the hands.
I don’t think I need to tell you that we had lots of laughs watching this event.
We finished out the evening with the Dominoes event. Neither one of us did very well in this event.
Such concentration!
Is Jane praying for better tiles?
