We have had the perfect week for our Winter Olympics. We had temps in the high 70’s and low 80’s all week.
Today was the last day of our games. All three of us were involved in most of the games that were taking place today. The real athletic ones.
First up….Bean Bag Toss.
Bonnie, below, is a good friend of mine. She’s lived at Quail Run for several years but never participated in the Olympics. I talked her into it and signed her up. She was in New Jersey for the Super Bowl at the time so I signed her for everything Dianne and I did.
Next up was Darts.
Of course our cheerleaders were out in force!
From Darts we went to Frisbee Toss. Yep, one must be a very athletic over 55 to be in the Quail Run Winter Olympics.
Frisbee Toss was difficult this year because we had a slight breeze working against us.
Score depended on which Olympic Ring you got your Frisbee through.
Dianne got two Frisbees through the hoops, I didn’t get any and neither did Bonnie.
Our final game was the Ladder Golf game.
The games are over. It was a great and fun week!
Next post…the Closing Ceremony.
