Today we spent some time in a graveyard, not the kind of graveyard you are thinking of though. We went to an old boat graveyard. The kind of boats that won't see water again. The kind of boats with gaping holes, missing engines, ones that are probably being held together because the termites are holding hands. Boats that rode the high seas and were the vessels that the "big ones" were brought in on. Boats that maybe were the livelihood of Homer families.
Boats that surely have a story to tell. There's nothing more for me to say here, I think they'll speak for themselves.
This wasn't all we did on the Spit, you'll have to read the other Homer post to find out what we did with the rest of our day.
