This morning started with our last line dancing class with Sandy and Carl for the season.
I hate this class. I hate that it is ending for the season. Carl and Sandy make it so fun and today was certainly no different.
Marlene took over leading one of the dances because her skirt twirled so nicely when we turned.
Barb…my favorite pool playing partner, getting’ down with the beat.
We’re going to miss this Tuesday morning line dancing gathering.
Carl waiting to get the next song ready.
Sandy, leading us as always….
Sandy and Carl, you made it another great year and all of your line dancers extend a huge THANK YOU!
After line dancing class a group of us got together to pick up the food bank donations that were set out in front of park models and RV’s for pick up.
I worked with my friend Kathy along with Carol and Mary. Kathy drove their truck, I rode in the back and Carol and Mary walked alongside picking up the donations and I got them packed onto the bed.
There were four such teams working in the park, driving up and down every road. The majority of places had bags set out in front of their places and more than once we were chased down by someone who didn’t their donation outside in time.
After everything was collected we met so that we could convoy to the church that runs the food bank for this community.
As soon as we arrived we got busy unloading the trucks and vans.
Karen, making her first of many trips.
Sandy with her hands full.
Boxes and bags….
Trip after trip after trip……
As soon as Kathy got her truck unloaded…..
….she moved inside to help get things situated in there.
We filled the room!
Once again Quail Runner’s…..WE DONE GOOD!
