Today was our first day off in this rotation. Bob and me and DeWayne and Joy went to the Commissary and got grocery shopping out of the way first thing.
The rest of the day Bob and I puttered around the house not really doing much of anything.
In the afternoon, Jerry, our new friend, came over with yet another component for us to add to the home theater. HEADPHONES! Some of you may be able to relate to this. Bob has the TV up so darn loud and then when watching an action flick and a building gets blown up its so loud it scares me half to death and he practically has to peel me off the ceiling. Ahhhhh….not anymore! The TV can now be at a respectable decibel level and he can crank it up on his headphones so loud his eyeballs pop….I don’t care! (Well, I do but ,,,you know)
So Jerry came over with his bag of tricks. Audio wires, couplings, all female plugs on wires, a gadget for this and a gadget for that, you name it and buddy has it.

Evening brought sitting out with DeWayne and Joy enjoying the cool evening air. Our heat wave broke today so that is a welcome change.
Tomorrow,,,we’re hitting the road for an adventure.
