6/26/07 We're Going To Lowe's!

Going to Lowe's is probably no big deal for you. Back in Delaware it was no big deal for us either, we lived about three miles from one and we visited often. Weekly, in fact and while getting the house ready for market, daily. Neither one of us has set foot in a Lowe's since last November! We were in a Home Depot a few times when we were in Florida for the winter but not our familiar Lowe's. So today is our day off and we're going shopping! The closest Lowe's is in Washington, a couple of small towns away.

Now I never thought I could excited about looking at nuts and bolts or electrical wiring and such things but I sure was happy to walk through those doors. (I can't imagine what it would feel like to walk into a Safeway or Acme grocery store!)

We didn't get all we intended to but we did pick up a light to set up under our satellite dish to illuminate it for those arriving after dark in the campground. We don't want it to be run over or into.

On the way back to the campground we saw these two water towers. We laughed out loud when we saw what was printed on them. I wish we had a closer picture of them but I think you can see what they say.

We spent the rest of our day off putzing around the house, watching TV, and just generally enjoying our day off.
