Whew, we're almost ready to hit the road.
Today Bob did the wiring for the thingamajig, the actual wiring from the engine to the thing'y, he did the engine wiring earlier. Took it for a test run and it seems all systems are go....so far. We'll know for sure when we come down the other side of a mountain but for now there are no strange noises or smoke so we're saying all systems are go.
I steam cleaned our carpets today and after all the dust from a near rainless summer they are looking practically brand new. This is a good thing.
All that's left for me is a few inside windows, 2 loads of wash, a final dusting and I'm ready to go. Bob has just a few chores left but nothing all that time consuming.
Sure we could have been out of here before now and we are anxious to get on the road but now that the work days are over and we're on our time, we decided that all we have is time and good while before we have to be anywhere. So we slowed down.
We did decide there is one more thing we want to see while in this area so after all the jobs are done and we can say, "We're ready" then we'll take a few hours to check out one more attraction.
So when will we actually be on the road? Who knows? Maybe tomorrow, maybe the next day, maybe the day after that. Stay tuned to find out.
