To Bob, this is the never ending roofing job. He had hoped to be done with work all together by now but that isn't to be the case. The rain we are having is really cutting back on available work hours. He and Dan were going great guns on it today and the goal was to finish this last roof but Mother Nature had different plans. While it had been cloudy and rain was in the forecast they had hoped it would hold off until they could pound that last nail in. The sky opened up and by the time they got a tarp over the exposed roof they both look liked drowned rats and were soaked through and through. Hopefully, the sun will shine tomorrow and they'll get to finish up.
I hadn't planned on going in at all but Barb asked me to come in at one because she had more inside painting she wanted to get done. I spent my time playing computer games and I hung in there until 6:15. With all this practice I can get up to Level Four on Jewel Quest!
Another quiet day in the campground. For a weekend we have very few campers here, of course with a rainy weekend on tap that is to be expected.
So here we are with one more day of work for both of us. Bob and Dan will finish the ongoing roof job and I'll keep watch over the office/camp store (read that as play computer games) because Barb has a baby shower in Illinois to attend.
After a dinner of spaghetti and meatballs we settled in for yet another evening of TV.
We can hear the open road calling our names and we'll work as fast as we can to answer that call starting on Monday. We've got a lot to do but you can bet we'll be focused on the tasks at hand.
