As we travel around Albuquerque I took notice of how many business signs tout Military Discount given here. This is a common sight in most towns that have a military base. Bob and I make use of these discounts every chance we get. It’s a businesses way of showing their appreciation of the men and women who have served and who are serving. In most cases a military ID must be presented.
I have a list that I refer to frequently and thought I’d share it for the military members, retired and present who read here. If you have a friend who has retired from the service please feel free to share this blog post with them.
Two important caveats. First, some stores offer discounts only at the owner's discretion and other discounts vary by state. Second, many stores that give a military discount don't advertise it. It is always worth asking a store whether they have one or not and to have your military ID on you.
