We got up early again this morning because we just didn’t know what time the guys would come to start working on our rig. We could have slept in. Late. Like eleven.
Bob filled our water holding tank because we have a feeling we’re going to be here for awhile. The term “laid back” comes to mind when we think about the work pace here.
Here we are all settled in the parking lot of RV City.
At eleven thirty Brian came over and started working on the outside slides where we have a gap and in the heat gunk oozes out. I know that probably doesn’t make sense to you and ya know what? Its ok that it doesn’t.
So Brian works on the slides for awhile and the next thing we know he’s gone. Done. For the day. Alrighty then!
Bob ran water for some reason and the whole rig shook when the water pump came on. Uh-oh. This isn’t good but we’re thankful that it happened here, now, while we’re in for repairs anyway. I went to the office and added the water pump to the list and in a little while Brian was back. Of course the pump wouldn’t shake the rig the like a baby with new rattle while he was there. We talked a bit and tried it again and on cue the rig was rockin’, rollin’ and shakin’. Thank heaven! Luckily, he knew just what it was and it was an easy fix. Ten minutes later and the water pump was quiet and steady when the water was turned on. Brian left. Again. For the day.
I told Bob that we just had to have TV, and besides, Survivor is on tonight. Being the swell guy he is he set up our dish in no time flat and I got all screwed up with time differences and saw nothing more than the rolling credits of Survivor. I’m not a happy camper!
Day two and this is getting really, really old fast.
