We really thought today would be the day we would start our journey to Nebraska. We were wrong.
Bob for some reason put his hand around the seal of the desk/TV
slide in and said to me, “I thought they fixed this.” I replied that they had fixed it yesterday. “Well, there’s a gap here again” he said in return.
We went over to the office to let them know that it wasn’t’ seated again and to have the fellas come back. Dee said she would send them over as soon as they finished the job they were on. Within a short time they were knocking on the door and we showed them in and what Bob had found. They were puzzled. Once again the slide went in and out, the stabilizing jacks went up and down and they just couldn’t figure it out. After much thought it was decided that when the stabilizing jack is down it flexes the frame which in turn unseats the slide. This is not a good thing. The older of the two brothers working on this project said that he would contact the factory for guidance. So we waited. And waited. Two hours later I went over to talk with Dee to find out what the factory said and come to find out, they will send an EMAIL! What????
She told me to call the factory next week to find out their determination. What????? She went on to say that they are not equipped in their shop to fix this kind of problem. Ok, fine, but someone couldn’t have told us this two hours ago? We could have been on the road. So we’ll stay one more night.
To pass the time away we went to the local Elks Lodge and played some pool and sat around and talked with the locals.
On the way back to the rig we stopped at a store to get something and this little guy caught my attention. I jumped out of the truck and asked if I could take his picture. His mom says this happens all the time. I think you can see why!
Isn’t he just the cutest little cowboy you’ve ever seen?
Tomorrow, tomorrow we’ll move on!

These RV problems seem to pop-up no matter what kind of a rig we have huh?? Sounds so familiar! We just got ours back from the shop a week ago (Sat.) 4th time we've had to replace the landing gear motor. This place in Mesa put all new in all made by the same manufacture. Suppose that could be the problem?? Some parts made by one, some parts by another & maybe they don't mesh together right???? Will let you know now it works out this time.
