We have to lay low a couple of more days. The winds are just unbelievable. We’re getting gusts to 70mph with sustained winds between 35 and 50 over these two days. The rig is just a rockin’!
To pass some time on the second day we went to the Commissary. Oh what a mistake it is to take a husband who is hungry! I was going in with the intent of hitting the meat counter and fresh veggies. That’s all we needed. Well, let me tell you, it seems everything I had coupons for was on sale! Being the Queen of Cheap I had to take advantage of the sale w/coupon deals. And then, like I said, there was Bob. Hungry Bob. I tried walking a little faster down the aisles but that didn’t work, he slowed down anyway. One hour later and our checking account lighter by a hundred seventy seven bucks we were on our way. Now the real hard part comes into play. We have to find places for all these things!
We’re taking off tomorrow, the winds are gonna be gone, so we’ll be tooling down the road with a rig full of bags stuffed with non-perishables everywhere we could fit them. Its all good. We saved a lot of money by doing this.
This hitch itch needs scratching, we gotta get on the road again.
