Bob worked so hard today. What we thought would be a two hour job turned into an all day job! Well, most of the day job.
Here’s some before pictures.
After much elbow grease, lots of car wash detergent, extensive use of brushes and sponges and rags, this is what it looked like. One clean, looks like new truck and one exhausted Bob!
See this place where Bob is pointing, the missing screw?
Well, that screw was lost when we were in Alaska. Bob and I spent the longest time searching the ground for that screw. We finally gave up because it was so close to the color of the stones on the ground that we just knew we’d never find it.
When we were standing outside today Bob happened to look down on the ground and found this!
Evidently, it wasn’t dropped on the ground in Alaska after all but perhaps got caught up in the coiled wiring and was secure until we took the satellite dish out to use again…..OR….somebody else lost the exact same screw in the site we’re in and Bob found it and it fits our dish. You decide.
While Bob was busy outside with the truck I took the time to clean our floors and get all the throw rugs washed. With as hot as it here it didn’t take them long to dry draped over the picnic table benches.
We never expected 90+ temps in Montana in the middle of September. There is a breeze every once in awhile but it is a HOT BREEZE!
Our neighbor Mike came over this evening to invite me over to watch Survivor on their TV. The new show started this past Thursday evening, but not here. It was pre-empted by a football game. We can’t get the “lower” channels on our TV right now because of something going on with our dish so I couldn’t watch it anyway. He knew I wanted to see it and even though he and his wife aren’t Survivor watchers they put it on knowing I wanted to see it. Once again,,,,,,you meet the nicest people in campgrounds! Oh yeah, I think Mike is hooked on this season now.
So, another day down in the lives of these fulltime RV’ers.
