Where: Santa Rosa, California
Who: We are going to spend a few days with friends, Bob and Karen Fischer. We met this couple in Quail Run two seasons ago.
Why: They are going to show us their part of northern California. Specifically,,,, SAN FRANCISCO!
When: We'll spend three nights in their driveway where they will hook us up with electricity, water and cable.
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all the Moms out there!
It wasn't a long ride today for us. It was uneventful. We pulled into their development in the late morning and didn't see a vehicle in the driveway so we just backed in and got set up. A little while later Bob comes out of the house! He didn't hear us pull up and we just assumed he and Karen were out since there was only one car in the driveway and we knew they had two. Shortly thereafter Karen returned home and we retreated to their deck overlooking the beautiful back yard. Karen has quite the green thumb and her rose bushes and flower beds can attest to that!
We had a delicious baked ham dinner and then Bob hooked us to cable so I could catch the TV show Amazing Race. Geez, if you are visiting you can't miss the FINALE of a show you've watched all season.
We called it an early night as we all knew it was going to be a busy day on Monday when we went into San Francisco.
