2/14/2011 Winter Olympics 2011…Day 2

I do think that before we get into our day we should make note that is Valentine’s Day. This holiday just doesn’t do much for us to tell you the truth. We don’t get all caught up in the hype that Hallmark, restaurants and jewelry stores put out there for this February day. However, if you do then we certainly hope you enjoy your box of chocolates, your dinner out, your new jewelry or whatever way you celebrate the day.

Bob spent this day out in the desert with the boys and I do believe they even had a lady on this trip but I don’t know that for sure.

He took the camera with him this time but for some reason the first few were taken in black and white rather than color.

I’m afraid the water looks a little too deep for me to be comfortable passing through this.

Turns out it was a little bit to deep.

After everyone made it safely across they regrouped.

On the go again….

Bob just loves his days out in the desert on his quad but does he ever come home DIRTY!

While Bob didn’t have any Olympic events today, I did. This evening I participated in Dominoes, playing Mexican Train.

Nope, not tellin’ ya how I did.

We had a phone call last night that I forgot to tell you about. Remember our friend Marvin?

We first met him in Florida during our first winter on the road back in 06-07. Then we visited him and his wife Vi, when we flew from New Mexico to Tampa for a long weekend for a Jimmy Buffett concert in 08. Most recently we spent a week at their home when we were in Michigan to pick up our new 5th wheel. Well, Marvin is in Florida, Sarasota specifically, and he called us last night to let us know he was heading west and would be in our park within the week! Marv’s wife, Vi, is still back in Michigan with their daughter as she isn’t up to traveling anymore. So Marv is coming to see us and we can’t wait to see him!
