9/17/07 OK, Everybody Sing....

On the road again
Just can't wait to get on the road again
The life we love is makin' new Rv'in' friends
and we can't wait to get on the road again
On the the road again
Goin' places we've never been before
Seein' things we may never see again
And we can't wait to get on the road again

Today's the day! It's finally here! We're hittin' the road.

We woke to a perfect day and we're back in shorts and T's. There isn't a cloud in the sky and today the wheels on the truck will go round and round.

Dan and Barb came by our site to say goodbye before they left to run errands. Hugs and handshakes out of the way and we finished up a few last minute things.

Everything in its place and we're ready to hit the road!

As Bob was pulling the rig out of our site of the last four months I noticed that we were the only ones in the campground.
And we're off!
We traveled a whopping 128 miles today to Hannibal, Missouri, home of Samuel Clemens better known as Mark Twain.

We had an uneventful drive to Hannibal and that's a good thing! We found our campground with no trouble.

After getting set up we set out for something to eat. The fridge was empty and neither one of us felt like shopping so we decided to eat dinner downtown. We picked a little diner and each had the buffet.

We couldn't but notice there is Mark Twain EVERYTHING here!

After dinner we walked around town a little bit and made our way back to the campground for the night. There's a lot we want to do in the next two days so we thought it best to take it easy this evening.
