Happy St. Patty's Day to ya!

We were SUPPOSED to have a dinner of corned beef and cabbage in the park tonight followed by a dance with Cactus Carl. We had the dance! Everyone, or a lot of us anyway, made our own pots of cabbage with all the trimmin's at home this year.

The Carnaval Room was nicely decorated.

This this crowd isn't into Irish Jigs so much it was to be a "Western" dance and everyone was to dress accordingly.

This is how one dresses for a western affair when its 90 degrees outside. Our buddies, Al Winters and Bob Fischer. Bob couldn't decide if he was dressing for the western affair or St. Patrick's Day so he's sporting a little of both.

Pat Whitmore went all out with her green wig.

Darrell and Dona having fun. I do hope that bottle was half empty when they arrived. This couple is a lot of fun and Dona will just keep you in stitches with her antics. One time at an event she had the entire room doing the "wave", not once, but twice. No reason for it, just because she wanted to. I still laugh to myself about that one.

I think this is the first time I've seen her on the dance floor too.

A good time was had by all.

It sure is getting toasty here during the day now. We're hitting the mid to high 80's most days now. The desert is starting to bloom as are cactuses here in the park.

Today was Ann's last day here. I'm so glad I had the chance to get to know her. She is one special lady, that's for sure!

Wilf in his leprechaun hat.

Bob and I wish you a Happy Saint Patrick's Day and hope you all find gold at the end of your rainbows!
