Today seventy five winter residents carpooled to Gilbert, a town about 30 miles away, to see a theater in the round production of play named Here Lies Jeremy Troy at the Hale Centre Theatre.
A comedy, this play took place in the Troy’s living room over a two day period. The main character, Jeremy, is a lawyer who has a lovely home, money, a beautiful wife and is expecting to hear at dinner that evening if he made partner in the law firm/ What’s missing in Jeremy’s life? A law degree! If the truth comes out, and his wife doesn’t even know, his whole world could be turned upside down.
The first half of the play was a little slow but the second half picked up and was enjoyed by all.
It was nice to get out of the rig for awhile.
