9/10-9/12/2014 Visiting Friends at the KOA

(On the road WEST)

By 8:30 we were on the road to Missouri.  Through the rest of Indiana, into and out of Illinois and we were in Missouri.  The KOA in Stanton was our destination, we’re going to see friends Barb and Dan.  Long time readers will be familiar with those names as we work-camped at this KOA back in summer of ‘07 and they own this campground.

We haven’t been through this way since 2010 so it was great seeing them again.  They even had “our space” # 7 waiting for us.

I was very happy to see that the pool was still filled because I have big plans for that pool in the next few days.

We didn’t do any sight seeing while here because, well, we’ve seen all we want to.

We did make one trip out to Walmart, that was the extent of our traveling.  We just enjoyed being settled for a few days.

We spent time chatting with our friends and they had us over for lunch one afternoon.  One thing I did notice is that Barb has not aged one single bit in the last seven years.  Gosh, I hate her.

I did take pictures of them but they weren't flattering and you know my rule, if its not a good one I don't use it.

Oh, and the pool, forget that!  A cold front came through and squashed that idea.

Friday came all too soon and it was time for us to get back on the road.

Hugs and handshakes out of the way we bid our friends farewell.  We’ll be back again Barb and Dan!   Thank you for your hospitality.
