We had some business to take care of with National Guard today so we drove to headquarters to get that taken care. We had to get new "retired" ID cards and we wanted to catch up with a few friends that still work there full-time.
We also stopped at our doctor's office to pick up the records that were sent there from the hospitals that we went to in July and August. We carry our medical records with us so that in case we should need to see a doctor he/she can see our past history.
Speaking of hospital stays, the bills have started arriving! We had a our mail forwarded to my parent's house and included were the bills and insurance statements. If you remember, Bob spent approximately 16 hours in a hospital in Idaho and I spent about 4 in Lewes, Delaware. Our bills have totaled just under $10,000 ! ! ! Now I know we're not charged by the hour but can you imagine if we had spent several days each in the hospital? Thank heaven for Blue Cross/Blue Shield as we're responsible for only $265.00. We were charged $7.50 for a Tylenol! If I had known that I would have brought the bottle from home!
