In this three day span we haven’t done a thing because we are having such high winds. Its even hard to walk outside for fear of being knocked down to the ground. It’s like we’re living in a wind tunnel. We’ll be glad when the campground fills to buffer the wind.
Well, that’s not entirely true. We did have one thing that we had to do on Monday. We had to move. It seems that we were in a Camp Host spot that camp hosts that have been coming here for several years now always occupy and we shouldn’t have been given that spot. I haven’t found out yet if the couple who are coming in Wednesday found out that we were in their spot and demanded we be moved or if someone on the park staff realized that we were given a “spoken for” spot and thought it best to rectify it before any problems arose. I’m hoping its the latter because I really don’t care for prima donna’s and it isn’t going to sit well with me if I find out that someone complained that “they’re in MY spot, get them out of it before I get there!” Bob and I wouldn’t dream of asking another Rv’er to move because they were in a site we wanted. I’m sorry, you just don’t do that. Especially if said campers have been set up for two weeks already. After two weeks time the knick knacks have been unpacked, you know the little things that say this is “home”. Anyway, we’re moved now, all set up again and I’m looking at this like we’re in this space for a reason.
After completing the move we made a trip to the UPS store to fax the traffic school certificate to the court in Arizona. That’s done now, no points on Bob’s license or record of the ticket.
When that was done we beat feet home because it was just cozier being home rather than out in this windy city by the sea. The weather man says the winds will calm, we ask WHEN???
