It was so slow at the marina today that I only worked till 9:30 and Bob didn’t have to go in at all. This worked out really well for us because our plan was to head to Wilmington after work for Tuesday and Wednesday,,,,our weekend.
We arrived in Wilmington a little before three with every intention of having cheesesteaks for dinner. Those plans didn’t take long to change when mom said they were going to Madeline’s Italian Restaurant and asked if we wanted to go too.
Our family has been going to Madeline’s since they opened fifty some years ago, I think I was seven or eight the first time we went there. I would say that is a testament to how good and consistent this restaurant is.
As always, we all enjoyed our dinners.
Back at home the men settled in for an evening of TV and mom and I played Hand and Foot.
