4/6-4/7/2014 Packin’ Up–Headin’ Out

(Arizona City, AZ)

Bob is running around like a chicken with its head cut off.  He has so many things to do.  Massive to do lists kept in the recesses of his mind.  So much to do, so little time.  The park model to take care of, P-traps to fill and the air conditioner that needs a cover constructed so sand doesn’t blow in, the car to get ready for a summer in storage, the 5th wheel to get road ready.  And the list goes on and the hours fly by.

My tasks aren’t nearly as many or as time consuming.  I did our laundry for the last time, put things back in their place for traveling, completed the paperwork for the Bingo season, did our taxes.  Taxes,,,,,yeah, REFUND!  Yeah, yeah, I know, refunds aren’t a good thing but it sure beats having to pay more!

No time for the pool right now, unfortunately.

Monday evening I went to Bonnie Larson’s place and we hosted an ice cream sundae party for some friends in the park.  A nice way to end the season.

By night’s end we were 90% ready to go.  Of course we’ll still have to do last minute things in the morning but we’re hoping to be on the road by nine.  We won’t have far to go as we’re only going to Mesa, about an hour’s drive west.  We have a hydraulic hose that needs to be replaced so we’re headed back to Robert Crist RV to get this taken care of.  We’re hoping to only be here for two days, three at most.  We’re keeping our fingers crossed!  Remember what happened last year when we went to the repair shop?  97 days later!!!!  I shudder to even think about it.
